My Homelab

Ok, where do I start.....

I have 4 servers,

I have 2 Proxmox Servers (Virtulization Servers) I use one for mainly Virtual Machines, and one for more LXC Containers, at any one time I am running upto 12 VMs at one time, with one I use as a daily machine with a passed through GPU, so for the most part is like a bare metal PC, and with Proxmox Server for LXC containers, I run apps/services and some of those through a domain name I own that I can access remotely.

I have 2 Unraid Servers, 1 of which is a physical PC and its main purpose is a NAS (Network Attached Storage) and I run some docker containers on there too, my 2nd Unraid Server is running as a Virtual Machine, it is a basic setup and runs my media apps and some remote file storage (Nextcloud) similar to Dropbox/OneDrive/GoogleDrive but private.

I also have a Proxmox Backup Server, which is feed by the 2 proxmox servers, In my opinion has the best backup/restore function for Virtual Machines/LXC Containers. I do backups daily and keep last 3 backups.

I have an M2 mac mini, for me its an entry point in the Apple ecosystem, its a powerful little machine, I also have ipads and an iphone, and I love that I am linked to all of those devices being the same eco-system, seemless intergration.

Lastly I have a 10 year old HP laptop, it may be old but I have CachyOS (Arch Linux) on it, and it runs flawlessly.
